Samsung Gear Blink coming in March 2015
Rumour has it, Samsung has been working on a Google Glass rival. If the South Korean tech giant is in fact working on this gadget, it would propel it above and beyond any of the other manufacturers who are contented with just churning out smartwatches.
The mysterious Samsung glass is known as the Samsung Gear Blink and is said to be ready for release in March next year. This is about the same time the Samsung Galaxy S6 is going to make its debut.
The Samsung Gear Blink will feature leverage augmented reality in order to project a virtual keyboard on the user’s hands so that they can quite literally type in air. The tech tycoon already patented this technology with the Korean Intellectual Property Rights Information Service, number 4020140033123.
The March 2015 time frame looks to be the most possible as no big events are set to happen any time soon for Samsung. Nevertheless, the information about the Gear Blink is scarce. The only real thing we know that there is a high possibility that the device will be running on the company’s own operating system (OS), Tizen.
Above we have some images for you from what was in the trademark documents for the Gear Blink. However, this design is definitely subject to change.
