Samsung has been one of the main supporters behind the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. In fact they are the Olympic’s wireless communication equipment partner. That being said, Samsung is also keen to show of some of their latest technologies to fans of the Olympics. That is why Samsung opened the Galaxy Studio in the Rio Olympic Park on the 9th of August, 2016.
Samsung’s Galaxy Studio is located in the Rio Olympics Park and is open to all fans and consumers visiting the park. In the Studio Samsung showcases their latest 4D and VR technology combined for an immersive experience. With the new gadgets in the Studio fans and consumers will have an immersive kayaking experience.
The Studio will also be offering a Galaxy S7 Rental program. The rental program gives visitors a chance to experience Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem. Other than getting a full Galaxy experience, users will also get an opportunity to collect exclusive Rio 2016-themed pins.
To ensure that every one of the visitors gets a chance to the showcases in the Studio, Samsung will also open one additional Galaxy Studios in the Olympic Village and Main Press Centre each. Fans and consumers are now able to demo Samsung’s latest wireless communications products and immersive technologies, including: new Samsung 4D kayaking VR experience that simulates exhilarating Olympic sports; a Galaxy S7 Rental program in which visitors can experience the Galaxy ecosystem; and the opportunity to collect exclusive Rio 2016-themed pins, among many other experiences.
The Galaxy Studio located within the Olympic Park was specifically designed to help fans embrace the excitement of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and celebrate the Olympic spirit, enabling them to create, capture and share their own experiences. To complement the Samsung Galaxy Studio in the Olympic Park, two additional Galaxy Studios will be stationed in the Olympic Village and Main Press Centre (MPC); as well as several Galaxy Studios throughout local cities in Brazil to help expand the Olympic spirit to a wider audience.
