The South Korean company is going to release an interesting version of the Samsung Galaxy s5 – the Galaxy s5 with Tizen operating system (OS).
Tizen is Samsung’s very own OS. The first ever Samsung smartphone that ran on Tizen was the Samsung Z. Samsung Z had quite an impressive spec sheet. A 4.8-inch display with 720p resolution, 2.3 GHz SoC, 2GB of RAM, and an 8MP rear camera was a good deal for many of us.
The Tizen powered Galaxy S5 have been found in India but these are just test gadgets right now. What proves this? The price of the phone is just $900 and only three have been ordered and shipped out of South Korea.
We won’t be surprised however if Samsung decides to make this into a marketable device. The company is not in the least afraid to launch their own set of new phones so why not another one?
