Rumors have been flying everywhere about the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. What are the features of the device, if there is going to be such device since Samsung hasn’t even confirmed its existence. But it is as per usual that the South Korean company launch a smaller version of its products.
Well, sources hint that the same fingerprint reader on the S5 will in fact be present in the mini version. Although there were many problems found with this feature, Samsung seems to be determined in making a come back with it. It may seem that Samsung did make some tweeks to improve the sensor but as with everything else, we cannot confirm it.
What we speculate is that the device will run on Android 4.4 along with Samsung’s latest IU with a 2100mAh battery and 4.5 inch 720p display. We’re expecting an 8 megapixel rear camera accompanied by a 2 megapixel front facing camera. The mini should be offering 1.5GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 400 processor. It seems like a smaller version of the bigger brother with 16GB storage. According to SamMobile leaks, the main Galaxy S5 software features will also be present such as the Ultra Power Saving Mote.
Love it or hate it, we will just have to wait and see. It is rumored that the mini might just be released next month!
