Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A Goes Official
We all know Samsung is one of those companies that likes to be first at everything and after much speculation and rumours over the past week, the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A is now official in the South Korea. The Galaxy S5 LTE-A sees a bump in specifications from the current flagship Samsung Galaxy S5 in two ways: a better Quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and better connectivity being able to take advantage of the faster LTE-A connectivity that is being rolled out in South Korea increasing speeds to up to 255Mbps. Not to forget, the QuadHD display which comes with the LTE-A version of the Galaxy S5 is also superior than the 1080p FullHD display on the current Galaxy S5.
So far, Samsung executives are denying any form of international roll out, which makes sense considering not many countries have LTE-A available, in fact, South Korea is one of the only countries in the world rolling out the network at the moment.
