Samsung’s flagship phablet, the Note 4, is has already been announced in places such as the U.S. and the U.K. with Pre-orders having already started. The South Korean manufacturer has also announced a series of “S Carpet” events that will take place throughout the last week of September all the way to the end of November. The only thing that was missing – a launch date for Malaysia. But that has changed! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 15 – that’s the date when Samsung will be holding an event to announce the Note 4 in Malaysia.
This comes as no surprise as telcos have already started teasing the Note 4, with DiGi leading the way with its Registry of Interest already underway. Two other telcos: Maxis and U Mobile have also started teasing the device on their official websites with only Celcom not yet in the fray.
The Note 4 brings a 5.5-inch QuadHD display, the S Pen and the powerful Samsung manufactured eight core Exynos Octa 5433 processor in Malaysia. The processor and the Note 4 have proven to be a great combination with the device scoring well above the competition in recent benchmarks. Some other regions are slated to be getting the Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 – particularly in the U.S.. There has been no official pricing as of yet but we expect the device will launch at the RM 2500 mark with carriers offering the device at prices starting at about RM 1900 – if not lower – on a two year contract..
Will you be getting a Galaxy Note 4 on launch day?
