The launch of Samsung’s most anticipated device is just around the corner, in the end of September Samsung will be looking to announce and launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It will be in the spotlight when it is launched and announced on that day. We are expecting this Korean giant to make the announcement by IFA. Alongside the device though there are other devices that are set to be released. One of them would be the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2.
Wildly popular last year as a cheaper, more affordable alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Note lines it is the only alternative to the Galaxy Note phones that are sensible. The devices in the Mega line are fitted with larger than live screens fitted with the best of specs for its price range making it a no brainer to those who were looking for a large sized phablet type device without the premium of the Galaxy Note lines. So what can we expect from this behemoth of a device?
First of the leaks are the specs of course. The device is rumoured to be powered by Samsung’s brand new Exynos 4 line which is still unannounced, or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 or 410. Modest and decent processors they are the Qualcomm processors. The processing power will be helped with 2GB of RAM fitted in the device. Rumoured to have a 720p HD screen on the 5.99-inches display it also has a 5Megapixel (MP) camera on the front paired with a 13MP back facing camera. It will come with 8GB of internal storage with MicroSD expandability. Doesn’t sound too bad now does it? What’s more is that with the SM-G750F coding for Malaysia, it is expected to come with Android’s latest 4.4.4 KitKat. Not even the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 gets it yet. There are rumours as well that it might get an LTE antenna with it and the a la Galaxy Note 3 faux leather backing out of the box.
We are expecting an IFA launch with the Galaxy Note 4 for this device. With the device showing up in SIRIM approval pages, we also expect that this behemoth of a device will arrive Malaysia not too long after IFA too. Should you be excited though? If you are looking for a good mid-tier phone with a good 6-inches of screen, you should.
