The Samsung Galaxy M series is Samsung’s latest addition to their smartphone line up. The new series brings the barrier to own a Samsung devices even lower with even more value for your money.
The new Samsung Galaxy M series will now consist of two devices: the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. The series has already been released elsewhere and is now headed to Malaysia.
The new Galaxy M series brings some of the more compelling features such as a fingerprint sensor, multi-lens cameras and large infinity displays to a more affordable price point. The new series seems to be Samsung’s answer to a price point dominated primarily by brands such as Xiaomi, Vivo, and OPPO.
The Galaxy M that looks to be coming into Malaysia is the Galaxy M20 which is the mid-tier offering of the new series. The M20 comes with an Exynos 7870 Octacore (8-core) processor with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and Upto 64GB of internal memory. Of course, the smartphone will support microSD cards for more storage. Aside from that, it will have a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel, f/1.9 aperture sensor paired with a 5-megapixel, f/2.2 aperture sensor. It will come with a 6.22-inch Full HD screen with the infinity V design.
Samsung has teased the device on their official website already and has even confirmed that the device will be an online exclusive. According trusted sources, the device will be retailing exclusively on Shopee with an announcement expected within the next few days.
We expect that the Galaxy M20 will be retailing for an estimated price of RM999. We suspect that the Galaxy M10 will also make an appearance and probably retail for about RM599.
