Samsung is gearing up to release its latest phablet and the first of its kind; the Galaxy Note Edge.
The Note Edge can be grouped together with the many anticipated devices of the year, chiefly because of its unique design. The smartphone comes with a screen that has a curved edge, which retains its display and touchscreen abilities. On top of that, the Note Edge also packs the latest in specifications; a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, a 5.6-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, the choice of 32 or 64 GB internal storage, 16 MP rear and 3.7 MP front cameras as well as a 3000 mAh battery. It also bears a stylus, signature of the Note series and has added sensors including a fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor. With a unique design and top of the range specs, its no wonder that many excitedly await the release of this device.
To get the ball rolling on the Galaxy Note Edge launch, Samsung has announced that fans of the device in India can get their hands on one by the end of the year. No exact date has been postulated but with only two months left to the end of the year, the wait is not long. Samsung fans in the US can also rejoice as recent reports have claimed that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved the Note Edge for retail by local carriers. With imminent launch dates for the US and India, we believe that we hope to be seeing Galaxy Note Edge’s all around by the first quarter of next year.
