So a few days ago we saw Samsung’s latest teaser to what you can expect in 2017. We think that it is for Samsung’s latest refresh of the Galaxy A series of devices. In that teaser also Samsung tells us to ‘hold your breath’ with some liquid graphic in the image itself.
With those in mind we get the idea that the new devices might get some waterproofing! Sounds like the Samsung Galaxy A series will benefit from the technologies from their high-end premium Galaxy S7 series in that front. It also sounds like Samsung is gearing up for a big year ahead with a major update to the series.
As if that is not enough of a teaser, Samsung gave us another one. Keep your breath held though as the next wave hits you! What could this mean? We can only guess. For sure it is them telling us that it is a series of devices right? That is at least what we think.
Here are the leaks so far on the next generation of Samsung’s Galaxy A series 2017 wave. We did receive word as well that the Galaxy A series will be sharpshooters.
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) looks to be coming with a with a 4.7-inch HD 720p display with either a Exynos or Snapdragon chipset. There will be 2GB RAM and a non-removable 3,000mAh. It looks like the Galaxy A3 (2017) will be coming with a capable 12-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel front facer.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)
The larger Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is rumoured to becoming with an Exynos 7880 octa core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The A5 (2017) will come with a 3,300 mAh battery. It’s uncertain what the resolution of the screen is but rumours point to a FullHD AMOLED display.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)
It looks like the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) will be the flagship of the range at launch. This device is coming with an Octa-core (8-c0re) Exynos 7880 with 3GB of RAM and a larger storage option of 64GB in addition to the 32GB. It also comes with a f/1.9 aperture rear camera with 16-megapixel resolution. The front facing camera will be no slouch either with a 16-megapixel resolution. The battery will come in at between 3,500 to 3,600 mAh capacity.
All the devices in the 2017 line up of the Galaxy A series will be coming with Fingerprint sensors and also USB type C ports. The devices are rumoured to have the same hybrid metal and glass construction we’ve seen in Samsung’s flagship devices since the S6.
