Samsung Asks You to Hold Your Breath….What for?
Samsung’s gearing in up for a really big 2017 with its latest teaser. The South Korean manufacturer faced a rather eventful second half this past year and is looking to get out of the gates punching in 2017. The image teases something to hold your breath about and more than likely the refresh of their midrange line up, the Galaxy A series. Could this mean that you can take the upcoming Galaxy A series swim and not worry about it? A waterproof device at price point that isn’t flagship? Intriguing.
Here’s what the leaks have speculated about the upcoming devices.
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) looks to be coming with a with a 4.7-inch HD 720p display with either a Exynos or Snapdragon chipset. There will be 2GB RAM and a non-removable 3,000mAh. It looks like the Galaxy A3 (2017) will be coming with a capable 12-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel front facer.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)
The larger Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is rumoured to becoming with an Exynos 7880 octa core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The A5 (2017) will come with a 3,300 mAh battery. It’s uncertain what the resolution of the screen is but rumours point to a FullHD AMOLED display.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)
It looks like the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) will be the flagship of the range at launch. This device is coming with an Octa-core (8-c0re) Exynos 7880 with 3GB of RAM and a larger storage option of 64GB in addition to the 32GB. It also comes with a f/1.9 aperture rear camera with 16-megapixel resolution. The front facing camera will be no slouch either with a 16-megapixel resolution. The battery will come in at between 3,500 to 3,600 mAh capacity.
All the devices in the 2017 line up of the Galaxy A series will be coming with Fingerprint sensors and also USB type C ports. The devices are rumoured to have the same hybrid metal and glass construction we’ve seen in Samsung’s flagship devices since the S6.
