Samsung and Apple has been locked in a battle for a while now and it does not seem that it would end anytime soon. In this battle, Apple would win some and then Samsung will win in some other aspects. Samsung for example is currently the leader in terms of sheer volume in smartphone sales edging over Apple. There is one segment though that Apple is always at a superior compared to their competition; customer satisfaction rating.
As far as consumer satisfaction goes, Apple has been trumping Samsung with points above 80 every year while Samsung’s customer satisfaction is in the 70s. Last year though it has been revealed that Samsung has 81 points on customer satisfaction compared to Apple’s 79 points. That does not sound like much because it actually is not much. In actual fact plenty of manufacturers nowadays can easily score a 70 in their customer satisfaction session as manufacturers now rack up on their customer services.
Although the tides for now seems to be turned there is a high possibility that Apple will climb back up into the 80s and reverse roles with Samsung again by the end of this year. With the recent issues and shake up within Samsung it could be hard for Samsung to keep the top spot on customer satisfaction as well. Nothing is certain though and we would have to wait until the results by the end of the year to tell.
