Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7! The Galaxy E5 sports a 5 inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor mated with 1.5 GB worth of RAM. There is 16 GB worth of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card. On its back, there is an 8 megapixel main camera and on its front, there is a 5 megapixel shooter. A 2400 mAh battery powers the device.
On the other hand, we have the Galaxy E7 which is equipped with a 5.5 inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor which is mated to 2 GB worth of RAM. A 13 megapixel camera can be found on its rear and a 5 megapixel shooter sits on its front. Powering the device is a 2950 mAh battery. Both devices are 7.3mm which is quite slim and are dual SIM capable. Both also run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The E5 and E7 have a wide-angle selfie, selfie voice command, selfie with palm gesture, and Beauty Face to enhance your selfie experience. These devices will be receiving some Lollipop love soon as well. The Galaxy E series is already on sale in India for INR 19300 (USD$305/MYR1094) for the E5 and the E7 cost INR 2300 (USD$363/MYR1302). The Galaxy E5 is also on sale in Russia for RUB 19,990 as of today!
