Shortly after announcing the Galaxy A series and soon the Galaxy E series, Samsung are now ready to put their Galaxy J series on the line. This plan is to shorten their smartphone contribution in the future.
The Galaxy J series starts with the Galaxy J1 which is the newest low-end Android smartphone that was spotted at a Russian vendor. The price of the Galaxy J1 is expected to be at RUB10990 (USD$170/MYR609). But the unusual part is that the Russian vendor named the Samsung device as ‘Samsung J1’, although we are sure that the smartphone will have a ‘Galaxy’ on its name. And Samsung is setting aside simple names like ‘Z1’ for its Tizen smartphones.
The Galaxy J1 comes with a 4.3-inch 480 x 800 screen display (~60.0% screen-to-body ration), a 1.2GHz quad-core 64 bit Maxwell PXA1908 processor, 1Gb RAM, 5MP primary camera and 2MP front camera, a 4GB internal storage, microSD slot, a 1850mAh battery, 3G and LTE connectivity, and out of the box Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Let us know what do you think about the latest and newest low-end smartphone from Samsung. Is it worth the buy?
