Sony seems to be making its last minute rounds in the rumour mill with one more device surfacing just in time for IFA happening in a few hours. We are seeing rumours of a Sony device with the model number D22xx (D2202, D2212, D2203, D2243).
The device, believed to be the budget friendly Xperia E3 is set to make its debut just after IFA after its
Z3 brethren have taken the stage. The Xperia E3 is rumoured to pack a punch – for a budget friendly device. It is allegedly coming with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.2 GHz with 1.5 GB of RAM but it may be bumped to 2GB, though the bump is, in our opinion quite unlikely. The device is said to be sporting a 4.8-inch display, a considerable increase from the Xperia E1 which had a 4-inch display.
If this is a budget device for Sony, we are definitely seeing an improvement with the definitions of affordable in the company with the release of the Xperia E3. It’ll be interesting to see how other company’s compete with this and the Moto G and Moto E.
Would you get an affordable device with these specifications?
