With the LG G Flex launched last year with its infamous curved glass display, we’ve been wondering about its successor. The LG G Flex 2 is bound to debut soon especially with all the major events like IFA 2014 behind us.
It has been awhile since we have heard any news about the headset and we were starting to believe that it might never surface. However, new rumors have been going around, making us hope that the device will soon be in our midst.
A new report originating from India is alleging that the G Flex 2 will be launched before the year ends and that we should expect a much more solid and compact built this time around compared to its predecessor.
It seems that LG might shrink the display size of the G Flex 2 compared to the six inch headset we saw last year. Not to worry, LG may have taken some but it’ll give some back with a resolution bump for the G Flex 2. We’re talking about a better than full HD resolution for this device.
We’re excited to see the improvements but a little wary that LG has been focusing so much on the physical aspects of the phone that it has forgotten to fix the quality issues it had with the original G Flex’s display. Hopefully, the company has covered all flaws in the first model as well as focusing on new features this time around.
