ZTE has mostly only made an impact in Asia with its gadgets and devices. Why is this so? It may be caused by its strategy of only producing mid market average smartphones. Without having released a flagship killer, ZTE has failed to penetrate a higher, more rewarding market. All that may change with the rumored ZTE Nubia N7.
The company seems to be working on a big, enticing project. Leaked images show that ZTE may have their first ever flagship smartphone, the Nubia Z7 in the midst of the launch. Not only is the device slim and good looking, the specifications of this phone make it even more desirable.
The ZTE Nubia Z7 offers its interested potential users a 5.5-inch full-HD screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 or 805 CPU, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 8 MP camera, 2 MP front camera, LTE (TD-LTE) connectivity and dual-SIM card slots. However, the dual-SIM card may indicate that if launched, the device may not be for the American market just as yet. These flagship specs do however sound impressive coming from the company.
Rumor has it that official announcements of the device should be taking place this week. Even though this looks to be only for the Asian side of the world, we’ll definitely keep an ear out for any details and keep you guys posted!
