Possible metal body and removable battery for the LG G3
In what is turning out to be the worst kept secret of the mobile giants, details on LG’s upcoming flagship, the G3, have leaked once more.
More images have been leaked by @evleaks and this time, we actually get to see the material of the body of the new smartphone and it appears to be metal. A suitable cover indeed to give a premium feel for the high end specifications packed by this product. Previous renders have shown the phone covered in the plastic case that was showcased, leaving the material of the phones body a mystery but with this image, we have now got our answer.
Another important image here is what appears to be a removable battery for the G3. If this is indeed true, it is an upgrade over the non-removable battery from its predecessor, the G2.
Another important report has surfaced confirming that the G3 will be featuring a 5.5-inch Quad HD 2560×1440 resolution display. This comes on the back of a previous report where LG has received certification for its new Quad HD 2560×1440 AH-IPS LCD panels from a Norweigan electronic testing and certification organization, NEMKO.
As deadline day inches ever closer, the rumour mill is turning ever faster to keep up the excitement surrounding the LG G3.
