Microsoft has been busy with updates lately from pushing out big patches for their Windows 8.1 platform to giving their online email platform, Outlook.com new features.
The latest updates from Microsoft are landing on their rebranded email service Outlook.com. this update brings functionality similar to that of the popular website IFTTT.com or If This Then That. So, if you have an overflowing inbox, you can set rules where your known contacts get starred as important if you don’t get to them within a fixed number of days. You can also automatically send spammers who bypass your spam filter to the spam or trash inbox.
Microsoft also implements a quick undo feature for the email service in which users are able to undo accidental deletes or moves but clicking undo or using CTRl+Z. In addition, the contact list has also been updated to show the services used by your contacts instead of having to manually list and update them.
