The OPPO U3 is expected to hit stores by the end of March this year. The phablet is set to be powered by a 64-bit 1.7 GHz Mediatek MT6752 octa-core processor which is mated to 2GB worth of RAM and 16 GB worth of internal storage. Out of the box, the device will run on Android 4.4 KitKat and on top of that, will be OPPO’s very own Color OS 2.0.1.
The smartphone features a 5.9 inch full HD 1080 display with a 5 megapixel front shooter and a 13 megapixel shooter on its back. The main camera is powered by a a Sony IMX214 sensor. The U3 will be supporting 4G LTE and is dual SIM capable.
In addition, the U3 will be using the AK4961 audio chip that promises better audio experience especially for music. It also comes with VOOC fast charge features which allow in to be charged up to 75% in just half an hour!
