Oppo has been injecting quite a few devices into the market in this year including their Find 7 which charges super fast. Soon enough Oppo looks to release another device into the Malaysian market. This time it will be an affordable mid-range device with 4G LTE capabilities. From teaser photos it looks like a smaller Find 7 so naturally it would be called the Find 7 Mini, except that it is called Oppo R831S instead. It is rumoured to be priced at around RM600-700 when released. It will pack a 4.5-inches display with 854 x 800 pixels resolution. It runs on a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. To take photos, there is a 5MegaPixel camera at the back of the device and a 2MegaPixel camera up front. Keeping all these powered up is a 1,900 mAh lithium battery.
Another device that will soon see a place in Oppo’s stables is a car charger. This car charger is a special charger that has the same technology with the Oppo Find 7’s ability to charge super fast. It’s called a VOOC in-car charger. The VOOC technology helps the Find 7 charge so much faster with the increased efficiency of the charger. It is safe to with the added protection by Oppo’s in-house researchers. All this helps the VOOC charges at a 4.5A output while other chargers can only do half that. Atop of that Oppo is making this VOOC in-car charger compatible with non-VOOC enabled devices to charge it at the max output the device can support. It looks then slow charging in-car chargers are a thing of past. Do not be too excited though as there are not much information regarding this device yet even though Oppo promises the public more information regarding the charger with pricing.
