OPPO Malaysia announced their latest offering to the budget market. Coming in at only RM 798, the Oppo A37 bring with it respectable specifications.
The OPPO A37 comes runs on a Quad-core (4 core) Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz supported by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device also comes with a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB of additional memory. The Oppo A37 has a HD 720p IPS screen measuring 5.0-inches across. In addition, the device comes with an 8-MegaPixel main camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5-Megapixel f/2.4 aperture.
The A37 comes with dual standby 4G LTE connectivity with a dual SIM card tray. Also in the SIM tray is a slot for the microSD card allowing users to get the best of both connectivity and expandable storage. The device measures 143.1mm x 71mm x 7.68mm.
It will be running the latest version of OPPO’s Color OS: ColorOS 3.0. The OS is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is touted by OPPO as being more steady, faster and better than its previous ColorOS versions. It boasts a 41% improvement in app launch and a 32% increase in Album boot speed.
As you can tell by the features highlighted by OPPO, the device is geared to selfie and photography lovers on a budget. The phone retails for RM 798 and comes with features such as the screen flash which OPPO says will brighten your selfies in low light.
