Earlier in the month there has been report surrounding the depletion of OnePlus X’s stocks. The reports formed after OnePlus apparently circulated an e-mail to its customers indicating low stocks and the lack of plans to replenish the storeroom. In the e-mail as well OnePlus offered a $10 store credit to purchase any other product including the new OnePlus 3 in their online store.
A few confusion and panic attacks later, OnePlus clarified that only the Champagne Gold version of the smartphone is depleted and there are no plans to replenish it. However OnePlus said that the Onyx and Ceramic is available but with limited stocks over the next few months. OnePlus, in the statement also assured their continual support of their products. Will they though? Only time will tell.
We do hope that OnePlus do keep to their assurance though and continue to replenish the OnePlus X. There are still no confirmations on whether or not the limited stocks of the device will be replenished. If you are looking to buy one though we suggest that you do it quickly. With limited stocks, it is only a matter of time that OnePlus X becomes completely irrelevant to the market.
Do keep a look out in this space for more updates on the OnePlus X.
