It looks like Apple is delaying its HomeKit automation technology debut! According to sources, Apple started certifying the technology much later than it original wanted. This has postponed the launch of many supporting devices all the way to Spring. Apple has yet to confirm these rumors though but it seems to be about right due to the fact many of the HomeKit hardware introduced at CES 2015 made by companies have their shipping dates in Spring anyway.
The delay seems to be due to the Cupertino tech giant’s high performance standards and expectations from HomeKit. The tech tycoon wants to get the home automation working smoothly and have no bugs. All flaws and bumps need to be ironed out. Well, I assume we’d rather have a near to perfect product at a later date that have a faulty one at an earlier time.
