The Nexus 6 seems all geared up for its release with reports suggesting approval by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).
The Nexus 6 was first unveiled on October 15th and will be among the first devices to be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. However, no exact release date was mentioned by Google at the time of launch. But there’s good news for fans of the device as pre-orders have already begun for the Nexus 6 via Google Play. We expect more carriers in more nations to follow suit as a recently revealed report from the FCC has hinted that the Nexus 6 has already received FCC approval.
An FCC report shows the specifications of two Motorola devices, expected to be the US variant (model no. 4054) and the international variant (model no. 3600). Furthermore, the device layout as shown by the FCC shows a 159.4mm x 83mm device, resembling the dimensions of the Nexus 6.
With FCC approval supposedly in the bag, looks like the Nexus 6 will be available for retail some time in November.
