Next version of Google Glass to have new design
Google Glass has to be one of the most controversial devices Google has ever launched. Not only were fights occurring cause of it, the design of the gadget itself left much to be desired by users. However, a new patent has surfaced that may hint at the company looking for a more stylish appearance for the Google Glass.
The patent was originally filed in 2012 and was just awarded to the company a fortnight ago. The document does not describe the device by name but calls it a theoretical “wearable display device” that sits on your face like a regular set of glasses. The patent also fails to point out the technology the Google Glass already is equipped with in the document. That leaves us to wonder if Google is looking to start from scratch, all over again?
However, if Google was ever thinking about making its infamous Google Glass more mainstream, it should be looking to make the device more subtle in its appearance. The tech tycoon needs to work on being more every day fashion friendly.
