Chinese smartphone giants are keeping the devices rolling by teasing a new smartphone to be launched alongside their upcoming flagship, the Oppo N3.
With the official launch of the N3 just days away on 29th October 2014, Oppo has done a fair bit more teasing on their official Weibo with the image above, showing glimpses of the N3 (right) and another unnamed device. No details have been leaked regarding the device but there is speculation in China claiming that this could be the thinnest smartphone to date, with a thickness of just 4.0mm. It goes on to speculate a screen between 5 to 5.5-inches as well as packing a 64-bit MediaTek processor. One interesting observation made by Android Authority was that the unnamed device on the left resembles early renders of the Oppo N3, as shown below.
So the real question is this; is the new device a variant of the original Oppo N3 or is it a new device altogether? With the launch of the N3 not too far away, looks like we won’t have to wait for long.
