Looks like we have a lot to forward to with upcoming Windows Phones! Three new devices are in the pipelines if you believe what leaks are saying. We are expecting to see a high-end HTC phone along with two new Microsoft-made gadgets.
HTC who has long been a Windows partner is said to be coming out with a phone similar to the HTC One M8. This rumored device will run on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. The phone will be released later this quarter. The mobile phone will have HTC unique trademark features such as the front-facing BoomSound speakers and the Duo camera.
Along with the HTC device, the company is said to have two more devices in the works. The first of the two is under the code name ‘Superman’. The 4.7 inch smartphone will sport a five megapixel forward-facing shooter which is excellent for users who love to take selfies. It seems that this concept was kept in mind as during an internal meeting, Microsoft device chief Stephen Elop reportedly called it a “selfie phone”.
The last Microsoft rumored device is the Tesla and seems to be the most high end of the threesome. Leaks point towards a Lumia phone equipped with a PureView camera. Reports have said that this will be a replacement for the Lumia 720 that is priced at $330 (RM 1060).
The dates of an official release have yet to be announced. The HTC device has been reported to go on sale on August 21 while the other two have said to be coming soon after. No worries, all three should make their way to our shelves before Christmas comes around!
