Motorola sent out invites for their September 4th event with not so subtle hints on what to expect including a follow up to the immensely popular Moto G.
The leaks this time come from Chinese online shopping website TaoBao. A front panel from the yet unannounced Moto G2 is on sale for ¥350.00 (RM 180/USD$ 57). The front panel apparently confirms earlier rumours of the Moto G2 getting a 5.0-inch display which is a healthy bump from the 4.7-inch display of the Moto G. Also apparent in the front panel is the dual front facing speakers and also a front facing camera. The seller alleges that the front panel will be shipped in 48 hours.
The Motorola made Moto G2 is expected to launch a 5.0-inch 720p display. In addition, the device looks to be sticking with the Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.2 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. It is speculated that there will storage options starting with 8GB of storage and microSD expandability. This will be bolstered by 4G LTE connectivity and also a 8-megapixel camera with a 2.0-Megapixel front facing camera.
