Motorola has just updated its smartphone camera app. This allows users to control their handset’s camera through their Android Wear smartwatch.
Once it has been updated, opening the app will present a new notification on the Android Wear Watch that allows users to use it as a remote shutter. Tapping on the notification will bring up a shutter button which allows users to take pictures using the Motorola smartphone’s camera.
If a user owns a different brand of smartphone, they can still achieve the same function through the universal Google Camera app. But it might not offer up the full range of camera functions that is available with the users default app. The Google Camera also works with the full range of Android Wear smartwatches.
