Motorola is introducing four new apps in Google Play Store. But, don’t get your hopes high Moto X fans! These four new apps are exclusive only to the new Moto X (2nd generation).
These new apps are not built into the system instead the manufacturer decided to upload the apps right into Google Play Store. Without having to hand over a full OTA (on the air) update which usually takes a long time, this allows them to develop or enhance important software application in a more convenient manner.
The apps are known as Moto Actions, Moto Display, Motorola Sensor Services and Moto. Moto Actions is an app that allows you to make gestures and touch-less controls. You can silent calls or alarms by waving your hand above the phone, or you can activate the camera by just a twist of the wrist.
Moto Display on the other hand, was known as the Active Display feature. This app unveils information and notifications by displaying them directly on the screen even when you are not using the phone.
In addition, Motorola Sensor Services enables you to keep your sensor firmware updated to ensure the best phone experience.
Lastly, we have the app called Moto. Its features are very seldom seen in the market. Motorola wants you to know how to take full dominance of the new Moto X. This app basically instructs users on the best way to use the new Moto X (2nd generation).
