A Better Look at the Moto G2
Motorola’s event is around the corner on September 4th where the company is expected to unveil its new flagship Moto X+1 together with the follow up to the Moto G (commonly referred to as the Moto G2) as well as its much anticipated entry into the wearables arena, the Moto 360.
However, the proximity to the event doesn’t seem to be slowing down the leaks. In fact, HelloMotoHK has leaked pictures of the upcoming device which you can view in the gallery above. From the images, it can be seen that Motorola is carrying forward a few design choices from the Moto E to the Moto G2 – most notably the front facing speakers. Also making the jump is the customisability from the previous generation Moto G with removable back covers in addition to dual SIM support which was seen in the asian models of the Moto G.
Also getting a respectable bump on the Moto G2 is the size of the 720p screen which is now at 5.0-inches compared to the 4.5-inches of it predecessor. The Motorola made Moto G2 is also expected to come with 8GB and 16GB storage options with expandability via microSD card slot. It will also be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400.
