The Moto 360 looks more than ready to launch as we wait excitedly for any juicy details.
With Joshua Topolsky sported the trendy device on Jimmy Fallon’s show, we know the date is near but what we don’t know is how much is it going to cost us to own the Moto 360.
One UK electronics retailer, MobileFun has however given us some hints. It stated that the device will cost 199 pounds when it launches in the United Kingdom later in the summer. The Motorola smartwatch will be equipped with fitness functions to track exercise and sleep as well as provide notifications for selectable apps. It will also be customizable with replaceable wrist straps and watch faces. Further, it will be able to connect to Google Now for voice control and feedback.
The US version of the MobileFun’s website list the moto 360 price at $279.49 (RM 910) which is much lower than we expected it to be. For reference, the LG G Watch will cost £180 (RM1000) in the UK when launched in July while Gear Neo 2 goes for £199 (RM 1100). A Gear Neo costs about $199 (RM650) and Gear 2 Neo in the US is priced at $299 (RM750).
We can comment that the Moto 360 is more or less in the mid range of pricing if this is the set price. It’s not too cheap, not too expensive which makes it affordable yet of good quality.
