The Moto 360 has proven to be the favorite among the Android Wear smartwatches right now. However, it did have a few kinks that needed ironing out. Hence, the device has received a needed software update. With the upgrade, users are suppose to experience better overall performance. It should respond more fluidly and improve Bluetooth connectivity between the watch and the smartphone. Another small update is that you will be notified if your Moto 360 battery is low, drained or charging.
In addition, the Moto 360 was initially released in a dark metal and light metal finish. However, rumor has it that Motorola might be working on releasing the device in copper, bronze and gold as well. Motorola had only this to comment – “we’re always exploring new materials and we intend to provide Moto 360 in a selection of styles in the future.” It would be totally cool to have a gold Moto 360 though. An expensive and classy look that is modern in technology on the inside.
What we can confirm is that the Moto 360 is now available in Stone Leather. The Best Buy’s website listed the device as in stock and worth USD$249.99 (RM814.84). However, Motorola’s website has taken off the Gray Leather version of the device when it added Stone Leather. I guess we’re not going to be seeing any Gray anymore. Oh well, the Stone Leather looks more interesting anyway, don’t you think?
