Microsoft’s Nokia Teases New Android Handset
Microsoft Nokia is set to give us all a big surprise today, June 24. The company posted a countdown on the 20th of June and although the Nokia blog doesn’t give us much details, it seems that it could just be the Nokia X2 that has been setting off quite a few rumours.
The company posted a bright green invite with a big X along the image with the date, June 24. It also added the caption “summer brings out our inner glow… stay tuned to Conversations to find out what we’ve got in store.” This is similar to the teaser for the Nokia X. Also note, the green does link back to the colour of Android. The original Android smartphone was a success when released in China and other Asian markets so it won’t be surprise if this is a follow up to ensure the momentum of success for the company.
The X2 is expected to have a dual core 4.3 inch display screen with 800 x 480 pixels. The device is also offering 1 GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage and a 5 MP camera along with a SnapDragon 200 processor.
Check back in a few hours what exactly the Microsoft surprise is!
