The Microsoft Surface Mini looked like a sensible way to go for Microsoft a while ago before the Microsoft Surface Event about a month ago. It also seems sensible that Microsoft would launch it then with all the hints they have given out. Despite all that though, we never see the Microsoft Surface Mini ‘surface’ during the Microsoft Surface Event. Instead we see a bigger, faster version of the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet. All is not lost however to those who are still interested with the Microsoft Surface Mini tablet. It seems that Microsoft forgot to edit the manual that is for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Specifically when describing the Surface Pen.
What this tells us is probably Microsoft have already built and confirmed the Microsoft Surface Mini and was probably about to launch it together with the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Why they scrapped the idea? We are thinking that it could be caused by some software or probably a hardware issue affecting the production batch of the Microsoft Surface Mini. The manual that was for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 could be also done alongside the manual for Microsoft Surface Mini, for all you know they might just come with the same sort of manual with a few exceptions. It is more economical that way anyway.
