Mobile World Congress (MWC) is starting real soon in Barcelona – it’s starting in just a week or so! It’s the biggest time for smartphones, tablets, wearables, and so much more during MWC and you can always count on us to bring you the latest updates for all of those news! Big companies like Samsung, HTC, as well as Huawei, has started rolling out their plans for the event. Microoft is another one that follows.
A lot of manufacturers will hold press conferences during March 1st, but Microsoft is not one to follow the trend. It has its event to be resigned on March 2nd, MWC’s proper starting date. This move might give some insights on what their plans might be.
Whilst we don’t have any expectations on any new launches to the Lumia hardware flagship, this MWC’s timing reinforces the thought that Microsoft will not seek to introduce anything huge this year. We are thinking that they just might announce mid-range Lumia and lots of Windows 10 talks. Lots of Windows 10. Lots of it. It’s more likely that they will wait for the second half of 2015 before announcing something new for the upper end of Lumia series.
Stay tuned with techENT as we will bring you the latest coverage for MWC!
