Mi Note has arrived in Malaysia!
The Wall Street Journal called it “the best smartphone you can’t buy in Malaysia” and the Co-Founder of Re/Code, Walt Mossberg referred it to be “drop-dead gorgeous”.
Yes, fellow Malaysians. After being teased for a few weeks, the Mi Note is finally here on our shores.
Mi calls it a top-class device and it might just be the best we’ve seen from them yet. The Mi Note is powered by a Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz processor mated with 3 GB worth of RAM. On its back, sits a 13 megapixel main camera complete with f/2.0 aperture with OIS. On its front, there’s a 4 megapixel shooter featuring large 2-micron pixels.
The 5.7 inch device features a 3D curved Gorilla Glass 3 framed in aluminium and the display is a complete sharp/JDI Full HD display. Powering it is a 3000 mAh lithium-ion battery with Quick Charge 2.0 capabilities.
If that wasn’t enough, there is a Dual 4G SIM in micro or nano and it comes with dual Standby. The audio system doesn’t disappoint. When you buy the Mi Note, you get Mi’s Hi-Fi audio system that supports 24-bit/192KHz lossless playback.
The Mi Note featuring 64 GB internal memory is being retailed at MYR 1549 (USD$). Head over to mi.com/my, XiaoMi’s official webpage starting 28th July 2015 at noon to get your hands on one.
And if you head over to the official Facebook page, you can win F-Codes by just commenting why you want the Mi Note 64GB. 3 F-Codes are up for grabs and the winners will be announced by the end of the tomorrow.
