With the CES 2015 coming soon and MWC 2015 slated for March, we’re expecting to see a lot of gadgets coming our way in the first quarter of the new year. We’ve been hearing about a couple of tablets coming from Samsung and Apple but it just seems that Sony will be joining to group with a huge Xperia tablet which might just be the company’s biggest device to date.
The rumored Xperia tablet is supposedly already in production and we’re interested to find out how big is big. But, of course, as per usual with Sony, don’t expect this device to come cheap. The gadget is allegedly going to be 12.9 inches and targeted towards the more higher spectrum market. It will be produced by Pegatron and is rumored to sport a 3840 x 2400 resolution as well as powered by a Qualcomm processor.
Camera wise, the unnamed Xperia tablet is allegedly equipped with an 8 megapixel camera and be 8.6 mm thick. This device looks to be a direct competitor to Samsung’s 12 inch tablet and Apple’s upcoming 12 inch iPad Pro. The price tag? Well, we’re looking to be around USD$1000 (MYR 3550). That’s a hefty price for a tablet. But would you buy a Sony device for that amount? Let us know in the comment section below.
