We cannot wait for the IFA 2014 event in Berlin next month. So many companies have been teasing us including Microsoft! We’re expecting to see the infamous selfie phone, the Lumia 730. But it seems that the company has more in stored for us. Its plans include the Lumia 830.
According to leaks, the device will have more than one variant. Sources are saying that the Lumia 830 will not be a Verizon exclusive but there will a different version for each different carrier in America. Interesting strategy by Microsoft! The carrier line up includes Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. And it seems each variant will have a different list of specs. Although, we cannot confirm what exactly will be varied from carrier to carrier from a design aspect.
The Verizon version of the phone will feature a 4.5 inch display while the AT&T and T-Mobile will sport a larger 4.7 inch screen. The resolution right now is rumoured to be same for all three. However, the AT&T variant will not be equipped with wireless charging. We’re not quite sure if all three variants will feature the 20.1 megapixel PureView camera.
We’re hoping to see a price tag difference if this leak turns out to be true. However, in about three weeks time, all will be unveiled.
