Pre-orders have started for the LTE-A variant of the Galaxy Tab S also known as the Galaxy Tab S Broadband LTE-A, in South Korea. The Tab S alleges to be the first tablet ever to offer download speeds of up to 225Mbps. It is going to cost anyone in that region 824,000 Won (USD$767.95/MYR2570) if they want to get the device.
The system of chip (SoC) has been upgraded to the Exynos 5433 Octa while other specs remain the same as that seen on the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. There is 3 GB worth of RAM mater with 32 GB worth of internal memory. The Tab S sports a 8 megapixel camera on its back and a 2.1 megapixel camera on its front. Powering the device is a 7900 mAh battery.
The Tab S has WiFi AC Connectivity as well as MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS with GLONASS and Beidou, along with microUSB 2.0 and a fingerprint sensor. The gadget will be available in white and bronze variants.
