A 3G equipped LG smartwatch has just been spotted on its way through the FCC. Listed with the model numbers VC100 and VC100P, the information is scarce on design and hardware. However, documents describe the device as being CDMA equipped, hence it is able to connect up to 3G network. Sounds like LG is following in the footsteps as Samsung’s Gear S.
The body of the watch minus the straps measure 57.5 x 35.5 mm. We think that the device hence, would be rectangular and smaller than the Gear S. The model number might indicate that the LG smartwatch will be sold via Verizon or Sprint in America.
However, some reports suggest that the device is actually just the LG Kizon which is a 3G capable device for kids to make phone calls.
What do you think? Is it just Kizon moving into US after being announced this year or is it a brand new LG smartwatch?
