A gadget launched in China at a trade exhibition was LG’s newest offerings to Asia. Known as the LG G3 Beat might as well be the G3 Mini as it not only has the G3 name but shows off G3’s metal design.
If the G3 Beat is in fact the mini G3, it will be the biggest ‘mini’ version of an original ever launched by a tech corporation. The G3 Beat sports a 5 inch screen which is only a little smaller compared to the original LG G3. However, the smaller brother does have one flaw when speaking about screens. The G3 Beat only has a 720p display compared to the standard G3 that has a 2k IPS panel.
The G3 Beat will only be available in China this month for a price of 2500 RMB which is around $400. No mentions have been made of wider availability in other countries for now.
However, if you do plan to get the phone, the specs include 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 8 MP camera at the back and a 2 MP front shooter along with a 2,450 mAh battery. It also features dual-SIM connectivity along with TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, CDMA2000, and GSM network support.
