Latest info from an AnTuTu benchmark has given an indication on the possible specifications on the LG G Pad 7.
The benchmark does not specifically state which device is tested, although the handle used is LGV400 which is largely believed to be the LG G Pad 7. The specs include a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1280×800 resolution display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, cameras are 3.2 megapixels for rear and 1.3 megapixels for front and it runs on Android 4.4.2. The results show mid to low end specifications, suggesting that the device is most likely a low-cost Android tablet. However, the possibility still remains that ‘LG V400’ could be a completely different LG device.
The speculated specifications of the LG G Pad 7 looks like a move away from the top of the line specifications of the G Pad 8.3, which suggests a different target group for LG’s new line of tablets. Perhaps they intend to outfit each of the new tablets (G Pads 7, 8 and 10) to target different market demands based on cost and specifications. That however is just speculation and the ball is now in LG’s court to provide us with more detail on their upcoming products.
