LG is preparing the launch of the LG G Flex 2 at the CES event happening in January next year in Las Vegas. Rumor has it that the G Flex 2 is a huge major upgrade from its predecessor. It should be sporting a higher resolution OLED display screen but in a smaller form factor. One feature that will make a comeback from the original G Flex is the self-healing coating but of course, it would be improved this time around.
The LG G Flex is known for its vertical axis that dramatises the shape of the smartphone in a bent form. The most unique part of the phone is that it can bend and return to its original form without any damage to the device. The self-healing coating keeps the back from any scratches.
According to a South Korean report, the LG G Flex 2 will be more radical than the one before it. It should be able to bend more dramatically due to an insertion of special hard rubber chassis. However, this is but a mere rumor so it might not be true. We’ll have to wait for January to find out!
