US Cellular, US’ 5th largest carrier, has recently announced that LG’s G Flex 2 will be available in their network from 26th March onwards. The device will be priced at US$149.99 (RM550) with a contract of 2 years. Monthly payments will be available for $0 down payments with 20 monthly payments priced at US$31.50 (MYR115.38). Those who would like to get the phone right away would be priced at US$630 (MYR2310).
The selling point for the device is of course, its flexible display and self-healing back. Whilst the initial performance reviews haven’t been very well, but the device itself packs some pretty solid specs. For a start, the G Flex 2 is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8120 64-big Octa-Core processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It has either 2 or 3GB RAM and has either 16/32GB storage.
The display for the device is a 5.5-inch curved 1080p P-OLED display. Camera wise, the rear camera is packed with 13MP with OIS+, whilst front camera of 2.1MP. The battersy is 3000 mAh capacity battery that is non-removable.
