Lenovo is looking to have a very eventful Mobile World Congress in Berlin in the coming week. The Chinese manufacturer has been busy beefing up its smartphone line up. This time, Lenovo is looking to beef up its current line of smartphones with a new entry -The Lenovo Vibe Z3 Pro. The Vibe Z3 Pro will be the follow up to the beefy Vibe Z2 Pro and is the latest device to leak.
The Vibe Z3 Pro (or the Vibe Shot) will apparently be smaller than its predecessor with a 5.5-inch screen compared to the Vibe Z2 Pro’s 6-inches. It will feature a metallic frame with a metal strip along the back left of the device which will hold the camera and three LED flash. The screen will apparently be a QuadHD display and the Vibe Z3 Pro will be powered by the 64-bit capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory (no word on microSD support). It will also be coming with a 16-MegaPixel camera with optical image stabilisation and laser autofocus (similar to that of the LG G3) as well as a triple LED flash. Also hallmark is a dedicated camera button.
Newer rumours have renamed the Vibe Z3 Pro to the Vibe Shot. In addition, it looks like the device may be coming with a smaller 5-inch 1080p Full HD display and a weaker Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB of RAM. However, the rumours also point to microSD card expansion with 32GB of internal memory. The Vibe Shot will be running Android Lollipop and be LTE capable.
The device is expected to launch at MWC in Berlin early next month. So stay tuned for more on the Vibe Z3 pro (Vibe Shot).
