The HTC One M8 will be launching tomorrow and what we see is the latest image (above) of the device right before its big launch. According to Neowin, the One M8 will be running on Windows Phone 8.1 and 2.3 GHz quad-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801. The device will be sporting a 32 GB internal storage with a micro SD expansion up to 128 GB as well as 2 GB of RAM. Along with this, the phone will have a 5-inch Full HD, Super LCD3 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 as well as a 2600 mAh battery. The main rear camera is HTC’s very own UltraPixel camera that is accompanied with a 5 megapixel front shooter. The device supports Nano SIM, HTC Boomsound and U-Focus. The spec sheet is completed with the fact the phone can be used with the HTC Dot View case. The Dot View case is the same as the Android-running One M8′s specialty case, and will even allow for controlling the phone through Cortana without turning the screen of it fully on.
Interestingly enough the HTC One M8 is not the only Windows phone HTC is rumoured to be working on! According to report by MobileBurn, the One M8 is just the beginning of the HTC and Microsoft partnership. Sources claim that although HTC will not be giving up on Android, it sees a good market to be penetrated with Windows phones. The One M8 might just be the test subject to see how well the market receives this HTC Windows phone. If it does well, it might just be a huge relief for those fed up with the Nokia plastic headsets from Microsoft.
