We’re all excited this year with the long list of devices and little gadgets being released or rumoured to be released.
One of the many trinkets we’re sitting at the edge of our sits for is the iWatch. Apple is known for their top of the line products and it seems that the iWatch stands to be one of its best quality work in the last third of the century. There have been countless leaks and rumours going about the Apple iWatch such as the price and release date. Even the name ‘Apple iWatch’ is yet to be confirmed.
However, according to intel from an Apple employee, Apple is for a fact working on a wearable for the tech savvy’s wrist. According to an article by Tim Cook reported by the New York Times, interviews with a range of the company’s employees featured many topics including how the company is coping post-Steve jobs and even one or two quotes about the wearable. An exact quote is as below:
“They point to the development of the so-called iWatch — the “smartwatch” that Apple observers are eagerly awaiting as the next world-beating gadget. Mr. Cook is less involved in the minutiae of product engineering for the watch, and has instead delegated those duties to members of his executive cabinet, including Mr. Ive.”
Hence, we can confirm that the iWatch has been confirmed to be in the works and that it is not a rumour as per previous reports. Other details were not given away but one thing is for sure, there are many important execs working on this device including the infamous Cupertino company’s design genius, JonyIve.
With this crucial existence set in stone, we’re all waiting for more juicy details that hopefully will be confirmed by Apple itself. Techent will be following the development for this gadget very closely so stay tuned for the latest updates!
