More Information and Pictures of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6
The rumour mill seems to be leaking at the seams with iPhone 6 related information. In fact, there’s so much information, we’ve chosen to accumulate a substantial amount into a single post rather than releasing tidbits every time something new emerges. So let’s get going with leaks!
First up, we’ve got a picture of what many believe to be a 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 6. The device is seen along side Taiwanese star, Jimmy Lin who is seen replacing a busted iPhone 5s screen. The device believed to be a 5.5-inch iPhone 6 is noted to be a lot bigger than the current generation iPhone 5s and also the looks to be larger than the rumoured 4.7-inch dimensions for the screen.
We also have news of the iPhone 6 coming with multiple new and improved sensors. 9to5Mac has noted new bits of code in the new iOS which invoke a new set of commands which are said to require new hardware sensors which is believed to be available only in the new line of devices such as the iPhone, iWatch and iPads which are slated for release later this year. The sensors are believed to be more accurate than those already in the iDevices but no indication on how the data from the sensors will affect accuracy.
Finally, as if to confirm rumours of a larger iPhone, there were leaks, today, of an LCD display believed to be a unit to be used in the new line of iDevices, specifically in the 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 6.
It going to be an exciting few months with the whole slew of devices looking to be announced or released by years end.
